Chaz Zelows is a certified social worker who works with the developmentally disabled population for the state of New York at the Central New York Developmental Disabilities Services Office (CNYDDO). He is a graduate of the University of Dayton and received a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. Prior to joining the Barbershop Harmony Society, Chaz sang with the University of Dayton Chorus, the Rochester Oratorio Society, and the Jefferson County Oratorio Society. Chaz has enjoyed singing barbershop music since 1982, and he has attended Harmony College and Director's College twice. He is associate director and tenor section leader of the Mohawk Valley Chapter, (the New Horizons Chorus). Annually since 2003 Chaz has been a quartet coach at the Seneca Land District Pow-Wow. He sings tenor with Harmonix, a 2002 Seneca Land District (SLD) Champion quartet, and four-time SLD Representative to International Contests. He and wife, Linda, have four children: Andrew, Stephen, Victoria, and Katherine. |
